Hi - my name is Emily Heater. I am 8.76 years old (in other words, almost 9) and going into the 4th grade. My Grandma Jeri went to school a long, long, long time ago. When she graduated from school her name was Jeri (Geraldine) Williamson. I didn’t know her then, but she has been very busy having kids, traveling and spoiling me!

Grandma married Grandpa Stanley in 1961. Together they traveled and lived all over the world. They lived in Greece, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Iran. I think their favorite times were in Italy and Iran because my Aunt Lonna was born in Italy and my Mom (Lynelle) was born in Iran. In between those two kids, they had another, my Aunt Laurica when they lived in Maryland.

Now, we are all very spoiled, but nothing comparies to Grandma’s newest additions, her 4-legged kids (Grizz and Gidget)! Grandma and Grandpa have their own woodworking business and those two kids get to go everywhere! I go sometimes in the summer but not as often as they do. The business is called J & B Crafts. They have all sorts of neat stuff and travel to shows in CO, AZ and OK. Grandma has worked for Navajo Express, Inc. for 13 years. She is the Accident Claims Manager. She says I wouldn’t understand what she does so I don’t know any more than that. Grandma hopes to retire in five years and move near Pueblo where she and Granapa have land.
