Kelly was born and raised in Julesburg. His home town and his many friends there were alway very special to him. After graduation from high school, Kelly attended Chadron State and the University of Wyoming.

He married in 1962 and divorced about ten years later. His two sons are Jeff and Jim. His two sons, Jeff and Jim, are both married and live in the Seattle, Washington area.

Kelly's mother - Fran - was the kindergarten teacher in Julesburg for many years and hse passed away in 1971. His dad - Bill - was affiliated with the First National Bank in Julesburg for over 36 years. He passed away in July of 1991. Kelly died suddenly of a heart attack on April 14, 1979 in Fairfield, California. He was 36 years old. At the time of his death, he was a salesman for the Sequoia Lumber and Supply ompany in Fairfield.

Our “Special Thanks” to Anita Phillips (Kelly‘s Sister) for taking the time to care - keeping in touch about Kelly and “introducing” all of us to Kelly’s Family. We could not “complete this project without including a “special spot” for this Gang!

As for the personal update - Jeff Davies:

Tyler is currently 3 1/2 yrs old and was in gymnastics for a while until he "got bored" so now he is enrolled in a toddler progam and seems to enjoy it tremendously. He is still working on the "share" concept. (What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine.)

Megan is 14 months old and seems to look for trouble when she can (which is always). She climbs any and everything. She's very vocal and will let you know exactly what's on her mind. They are both very ticklish and very huggable ... and we are truly blessed.

Annette is a full-time mom and in her "spare" time sings in a band called Naughty Dogg. They are currently working with a producer to put a couple of their "originals" on CD. She loves to sing and occassionally they perform for parties and benefits.

As for me, Jeff, I work at a family-owned company called Pathways and manage the hardware systems for Research and Development. I design electronic hardware systems for the new smart card technology, which may be the newest form of electronic cash in the not-to- distant future. My favorite hobbies are dirt bike riding and playing golf (of course).
