Raymond Spillman
Ray was born and raised at Julesburg, Co. and graduated from Julesburg High School in 1960, with the desire to be the best tuba player at the University of Northern Colorado, at Greeley, Co.. At that time it was known as the “Singing School”. This was attained and he graduated with a Masters Degree in Music from there in August, 1965.

He taught music in Greybull, Wyoming, Chappell, Ne. and Ridgewood, New Jersey. Eventually he moved to Columbus, Ohio with his daughter Jodi Rae and married lovely Anne Puglisi.

He teaches Brass Instruments and instrument repair at the Ohio State University, and is the business manager of the nationally known famous BRASS BAND OF COLUMBUS, Ohio.

He will fly with this group to England in September to be the guest Band at the England Brass Band Competition.

Daughter Jodi Rae is a R.N. and is married to Dr. Vincent Ferrini. She is a stay at home Mom with three children near Cleveland, Ohio.

Raymond and Anne live in their Country Home near Delaware, Ohio where Raymond also has a tremendous business in instrument repair. This hobby has run into a busy pastime. He and Anne also enjoy yard and flower work, hockey, football, and just RESTING!!
