Vic & Kathryn Spears

Spears ~ Austin Wedding

April 12, 1939

Kathryn wore a pink suit and Vic wore a Navy Blue suit.

Attendants were Larry Spears (Vic's brother) and my Sister-in-Law (Dorothy Austin)

Vic spent 2 1/2 years as a medic in the Navy during WWII

He was stationed in Gaum & Siapan

1942 - 1945

After getting married we settled down in Julesburg. I continued working at the telephone Office and Vic continued to work in the Drug Store.

6 months

We had three sons - Larry, Donald & David. Our children had to travel four blocks to Grade School and only two blocks to High School.

Some of my favorite memories of my sons were watching them develop and take very active parts in all activities

While raising my children was a full time Mother until they were in school and then I worked with my husband at our Drug Store - Spears Rexall Drug

Vic & Kathryn were delighted to be presented with five grandchildren during their life together.
