Ms. Leigh has done it again in this masterfully told story set amid the rich setting of the mighty Amazon. She weaves a wonderful spell from beginning to end as she takes you on Rhea’s journey to the desire and destiny that awaits her here. The plot was a wonderful mix of humor, romance and sensual delights that will definitely tease the reader with its exoticness. This reviewer was instantly captivated by the sheer lushness of Ms. Leigh’s setting and plot. The way she told the story of Valos, Rhea and the Stairway to Heaven was absolutely stunning. She is a wonderful storyteller that will definitely keep the readers entertained.
From the beginning, this reviewer found much to identify with Rhea. A strong woman with a bruised heart, she is a perfect complement to Valos and his wonderfully delicious looks. Strong yet tender, Valos is the perfect man for Rhea and to awaken her womanly spirit that has been greatly bruised. Ms. Leigh creates two of the most interesting and complex characters to date and it will definitely leave the reader panting with anticipation as they see if Rhea will believe her own heart or logically try to convince herself that Valos is not real. She has really captured the essence of these two as well as the secondary characters that help drive the story along. Her passionate sex complements the story instead of taking over the story as some might do. This made the flow of the book easier to handle as well as set it apart.
Ms. Leigh writes a bold, poignant paranormal romance that will sweep the reader away on a tide of craftily created characters and an exotic setting that will keep the reader entertained from beginning to end. Run to get Stairway to Heaven and see what the Amazon has in store for your senses!!! This is truly one of the best works by this exceptional author yet in this reviewer’s opinion!
