TAYLOR
Mrs. Elizabeth Ohelia Flowers Taylor, age 84, departed this life Wednesday, February 23, 1977 at 2:30 a.m. at William F. Bowld Hospital. She was the widow of the late Rev. W. H. Taylor, Sr. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy T. Brown of Washington, D.C., Mrs Helen T. Johnson of Detroit, Mich., Mrs Minne B. Slaughter, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Young and Mrs. Barbara K. Jones of Memphis; one adopted daughter, Mrs. Ernestine Pegues of Detroit, Mich.; four sons, Mr. William H. Taylor, Jr. of Memphis, Mr. Herman T. Taylor and Mr. Flowers A. Taylor of Chicago,

Ill., and Mr. Charles H. Taylor of Los Angeles, Calif.   She leaves four devoted grand-children whom she raised: Mr. William C. Jernigan, III of Alburquerque, New Mexico, Mr. Ralph Wiley of Oakland, Calif., Mr. Julius Knght of Memphis, and Mr. Samuel L. Graham, Jr., of St. Paul, Minn. She also leaves to mourn her plassing one sister, Mrs. Ruby Prowell of Chicagom Ill.; one sister-in-law, Mrs Catherine Taylor of Antioch, Tennessee; 34 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three sons-in-law; four daughters-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of contributions to the Elizabeth O. Taylor Memorial Fund at Mt. Pisgah C. M. E. Church, 2490 Park Ave. Visitation Saturday, February 26 from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. at Victory. Family hour from 7-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Pisgah C. M. D. Church, Sunday, Fegruary 27 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. E. L. Brown officiating. Interment and final tribute in Elmwood Cemetery, Monday, February 28, at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Victory Funeral Home, Inc., 323-2636.
