This is the Last Will and Testament of Henry JESSEE. I recieved a photocopy of the orginal in the mail. The copy is difficult to read but I have tried my best to transcripe it.I have yet to confirm the authenticity of this document but I offer it here. Henry JESSEE is the father of John JESSEE. John and his wife Frankey were the signed witnesses.

In the Name of God, Amen, I Henry Jessee of Caswell County, North Carolina, (unreadable) being very Sore and weak in Body But of sane and Perfect mind and Memory do Make and Declare this my Last will and Testament in manner and form following.

(unreadable),I Leave and Bequeath to my beloved wife, one Darke Brown mare four years old, two Cows and Calves, all my Hogs and Sheep, one feather Bed and furniture, with the Chairs that's in my House, one Iron Pot and the half of my Pewter, with all the (unreadable) that's in my House, and all of Every kind made on the Plantation whereon I live and to hold for Ever, and I do hereby appoint and (unreadable) my Loving Wife Whole and Sole Execetrios(sp) of this my Last will and Testament, in and to revoke and annul all before will or wills What So Ever in witness whereof I have here onto set my hand and Seal, this the 20th day of June 1781-
