Summary: What do you do when you've lost everything? Buffy has, and is hiding away from the world. Until she receives a phone call that her mother is ill. Returning home a failure was something, that until this point, she's refused to do. Now she doesn’t have a choice.
Spike understands Buffy's pain. He's been there himself, except he had his children, friends, and family to help him through his hell. Now, he's determined to be the friend Buffy needs to make the journey home.
