Poppa Joes Hayloft Jamboree 1970

There where nine of us that rebuilt
the hayloft of pappa’s old red barn.
We had started the first Saturday
of August and worked every chance we could .
It took 1000ft of new wiring
100lbs of assorted nails
1,568 square feet of new flooring
and a lot of elbow grease
and 25 cases of beer.
We finished the project
one week before Halloween.
