Sharky's Golden Dorsal Fin Award is an award given to an artist , book , song or whatever that has caught the attention of Vampire Azizah(me of course) in that particular month. To win this award , the subject at hand must be be in the Vampire Azizah's mind for weeks on end during a duration of a month. For instance , if i have been listening to Luna Sea all month long(which i have) , then they will win the award and will be featured here as the prestigious winner! Get it? No? Characters from Yami No Matsuei~
This month's winner came about by accident. This is due to the fact that i came to know of Yami No Matsuei(Descendants of Darkness) by sheer luck!! It all started with my bro downloading this anime out of curiousity. He downloaded only the 2nd episode of Yami No Matsuei but that was quite enough to get me hooked!!
The characters are beautifully drawn and the story is really quite entertaining!! It is not like your average fantasy anime where some things really don't make any sense. Yami No Matsuei has a rather realistic feel to it eventhough it is a fantasy anime!
The characters too are unique in their own way. Like the masses..i too find the main character , Tsuzuki Asato tantalizing! He has a penchant for sweets and is awfully adorable when presented with some! He kinds of reminds me of Himura Kenshin of Rurouni Kenshin! Tsuzuki too have a dark side to him which makes him all the more interesting!

The resident hentai doctor, Dr Muraki who has the hots for Tsuzuki is also one of my favourite characters!He truly is an enigma! Also imagine the irony. He is a doctor, someones who strives to save lives and yet he kills without hesitation!
Some trivia for you, this series is the works of Yoko Matsushita and is regarded in the genre of shounen ai comics! The anime version consists of only 13 episodes( It is TOO LITTLE!!) I am not sure about the comics though. Don't really follow them ---> i don't think there are any here which has been translated in English anyway! Well..these are what i have at the moment , but i urge all of you reading this to check out this anime!! With that, i will leave you with some nice pictures of Yami No Matsuei!!
