More Patty
Patty Schemel joined Hole when they were looking for a new drummer following the departure of Caroline Rue. Patty had a reputation as one of the top drummers in Seattle, and was recommended to Courtney and Eric by Courtney's husband, Kurt Cobain, who had actually considered Patty for Nirvana. Patty left Hole in 1998 amid rumours of drug abuse. She and Courtney are currently working on recording an album for their new band, Bastard.
