You meet Selphie early in the game. Right off the bat you can get a sense of what Selphie is like. She runs into Squall when she was late for class and then trips off a cliff on her first mission...nuff' said (blonde). She recently tranfered to Balamb Garden, she grew up in Trabia Garden, located deep in the mountains on the northern continent. She's very outgoing and cheerful, which has earned her many friends at both Gardens. She is trying to organize the Garden Festival between training sessions. Irvine Kinneas is trying to gain her effection with not much luck.
