Do u know what its like to be faded
memories forgotten, dreams invaded
people see this girl, who they want me to be
the girl lost in the shadows...that girl is me
I see my reflection drifting away in the mirror
I try to hold on to make it clearer
u thought you knew me, but you really don't know
piece by piece u too let go
I was dreamed up, now blinked away
everything forgotten, no words to say
I was a girl daring to be free
that girl standing hidden, that girl is me
too afraid to show my face
feeling lost in this place
I tried to live without regret
struggling to remember, struggling to forget
u said you'd hold on forever
u promised to leave me never
I find myself here on my own
here, by myself, all alone
forgotten, faded like a raindrop in a rolling sea
the girl who no longer is...that girl is me
