Pathos
Nonchalantly she sat,
Still unmoved and uninterested in the world,
Feeling her life drain from her
As her soulless body remained steadfast.
Her tear filled eyes fixed beyond the window,
Intensely gazing towards the ground.
Watching the sun falling from the bleeding sky,
And the day ending as the end of the world.
Her head on her hands, again still.
Thinking over her recent past and then further back;
Regretting and worrying over what was to come
As if her life was over and there was none to come.
Her torrid and torpid feelings interchange.
Her mind racing and heart thumping,
Thoughts falling like tears.
Her current disconsolate life was no more.
