Parallel universe

I wonder, as I look through my window

Into space in the night sky,

If there’s a me in a parallel universe

That’s with you, happy.

How I wish I was that me.

I wonder what I’d be doing right now.

Sitting with you, laughing and smiling

Without a clue of the me sitting here?

Maybe, as long as an infinite number

Of parallel universes exist,

I’ll always be happy somewhere.

I just wish I was the happy me.
