From the ashes of two of Cincinnati's heaviest
bands, "The Wreckage" & "Oxboard Drain", emerges "HEKURA" (the
spirits). Forming in the winter of 2001 with one goal in mind; Drinking
40's of King Cobra, Playing naked, and rockin like DOKKEN. Compared to the
likes of "Hot Water Music", "Texas is the Reason" and "Weezer". HEKURA
plays post hardcore melodic rock (EMO). From Ozfest to the warped tour to
basements across America, Hekura will play anywhere, anytime!
