worked a craft show all day, well worked isn't the word i guess. so now i'm home staring at the computer listening to the tv while partner snores in front of it. what better time to blog?

just wanted to update my angelfire site, it's ancient. but i'm still doing all that stuff: knitting, spinning, web design, photography.

i guess that's all i have to say. i thought i would write about new orleans but sometimes it's just hard to write about here. my home, everyone else i know's home.

i took a "short cut" home from uptown today on valence street, wow, what a disaster. looks like the hurricane hit last week. houses falling down, streets a mess, i guess i'm in a little safety zone where i live/work/play usually. an eye opener.

then i saw a discovery show about mt rainier throwing down on seattle and more the little towns nearby, and how they have disaster drills where the kids have 20 min to get up high enough to be ok when the lava flows... and they think we're dumb here!! just remember we had a hurricane discovery show and then it actually happened! so shut up all you seattle know it alls.
