JOSH This was written for a friend who's trying to be my lover. I gave him a shot and..well..things just didn't work out. Written June 17, 2002.

Josh

I warned you so many times
And now the pressure's on.
I'm testing you so carefully,
Making sure you're up to MY standards
Of course, like I figured,
You're cracking
And the pieces are falling.
But you can't pick them up,
Not when I'm here.
So you run away,
So far away,
And leave me alone again.
I knew you couldn't handle things
And I knew how hurtful I can be.
You didn't believe me, who would?
I'm nothing special, did you think?
Again tonight, I will slit my wrists
And just for you, I will die.
I know I'm not perfect,
I know I'm not everything,
But you're too cracked
To bother being fixed.
