Friday Five: If you...
1. ...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve? ...i really have no clue... mebbe an Ice Cream Parlour or an old english tea room but not a full blown restaurant
2. ...owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell? ...fruit and veg mebbe...?? my own jewellry ...i don't think i would like to tho'
3. ...wrote a book, what genre would it be? ..."How to manage on £10 a week... and still have change" ...it'd be a best seller if i could be bothered to put pen to paper... *LOL
4. ...ran a school, what would you teach? ...Life Skills as it was called in my day... we got 6 weeks as part of a modular which ran for a year and were taught the basics in first aid! I think there is room for a lesson that teaches the fundamentals of day to day existance after school years... who ever used trigonometry anyway *sighs*
5. ...recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it? ...the best compilation album ever... something with a lil of everything on taking you on a journey from start to finish rather than tha same shoite thro'out!

i'm late, i'm late... for a very important date!
Friday Five:
1. What was the last song you heard? ...Careless Whisper was just playing on the telly on some programme where the main character had gone to a school reunion... i had totally forgotten just how much i disliked that song :(
2. What were the last two movies you saw? ...i watched Bad Boys II the other night... lots of bangs and one liners... and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which i bought the other day ...fantastic!
3. What were the last three things you purchased? ...baby juice, loo roll and hair bobbles from the chemist... boring!!
4. What four things do you need to do this weekend? ...watch the Manchester derby on the telly, obtain an empty margarine tub for Lauren to take to school, catch up with a coupla friends and get an early night *yawns*
5. Who are the last five people you talked to? ...Ben, Lauren and Nina... and ma Money Makin' Man and StickDickMacho ;)

after a very lengthy and close to the bone [no pun intended] conversation on tha telephone tha other night i was delighted to find an article in a magazine i bought that confirmed that there is indeed a lattice of coincidence that lies over everything... there were definitely a few pointers that show you aren't on your own even if you feel like it at times... and if you are alone then there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with going Hans Solo ;) *giggles*

Can you believe tha nerve of some BIG-ASS companies out there... after taking over 4 months to deliver an item that was intended as a Christmas gift it finally arrived ...and they charged me ... how rood!! Okay okay, i got it so i'll pay but i was hoping for just a lil luck and to slip thro' tha mill but not this time :((

Friday Five [on a Sat'day ;)]: What was...
1. ...your first teacher's name? ...at nursery i had Mrs Brannah and she was lovely as all nursery teachers usually are... at primary school tho it was Miss Dovedale but she left to go live in another country i think and then Mrs Guy started
2. ...your favorite Saturday morning cartoon? ...Thundercats and Battle of the Planets which i still catch from time to time on Bravo i think *L ...i had a bit of a crush on tha main leader when i was ickle *bg
3. ...the name of your very first best friend? ...Caroline Garvey... by secondary school we'd gone our seperate ways tho
4. ...your favorite breakfast cereal? ...nowadays i love porridge but i longed to have Coco Pop and Rice Crispies when i was lil but ma mam swore by bran flakes... eurgh!!
5. ...your favorite thing to do after school? ...when i was at school i couldn't wait to get home, get changed and go out an' play :)

we've been up for an hour already listening to Lauren playing on her new keyboard ...she's turned 10 today and i swear she's grown a coupla inches overnight and i have grown a few more grey hairs... i am struggling with her gettin' older more so than i am my own birthdays now :( *L ...she isn't having a birthday party as such [i doh do other peoples kids!!] but i have invited tha family over for tea and we're having pizza, salad and finger foods followed by strawberries and cream which is Laurens fave

can you believe of all weeks that this one is the one when i haven't had my weekly allowance put into my bank account :(( i'm livid and tha folks concerned say there is nowt they can do this week 'vept double up next week... sounds great for next week but am gonna have to borrow to manage for tha next seven days... am sure this wouldn't be tha case if i had accidentally been given too much *grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
