Dave Fury

The lead guitarist and backing vocals of the band, Dave is the heart of the band. Ed and Dave formed the band in one of their lessons, before either of them had an instrument. Dave quickly bought a second hand guitar for 30 pounds, at the age of 16. Since then his tastes in music have rapidly changed and so has his style. Dave has quickly developed his own style in playing, but will always be overshadowed by Alex Warren (Legacy), this only drives him to improve and change the world of music in a major way.

Information on Dave Fury

David was born on the 26th September 1984, he was more intrested in playing football than playing music early on in his life. He played for Fetcham Park United for 5 years as well as playing Badminton for Surrey. He was motivated to start playing music when he watched some of his friends play. He set up the band in a graphics lesson when he was 16, he asked Edd "Wanna be in my band?", strangely though this was before either of them had even started playing their instrument. Influences on Dave Fury

Early on in his guitaring days David was hugely influenced by GreenDay and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. As his intrests in music developed into metal, he was introduced to Metallica. Metallica have affected David more than the other bands both in his style and techniques. Whilst idolising James Hetfield, it is Kirk Hammets solos which David paid the most attention. David managed to influence the band to play more and more Metallica songs and this produced some of their best covers, for example The Unforgiven and Fade To Black. David is developing his own way of playing but there tends to be some similarity to Metallica.
