*FLASHBACK*

February 20, 1991
Selland Arena
Fresno, CA

My very first concert, I was ten years old. It was to see NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK. My step-mother had managed to get four tickets to see the boyband and gave them to me and my step-sister for Christmas. I was overjoyed. The reason: because the concert had sold out in four hours. My step-sister, however, was just happy.

The day of the concert finally arrived. I had a performance that day for oral interpretation. When I got home, I changed into the outfit that my step-mom wanted me in. I had wanted to wear my NKOTB tee-shirt, but she wouldn't let me. We drove to the arena and as we were parking, I heard on the radio that one of the DJs from the local top 40 station was out and about handing out stickers. I found him, got myself a sticker and we then headed into the arena. We found our seats, which were behind the stage and sat down. I wasn't sitting long, because as soon as NKOTB took the stage, I was standing in the aisle screaming. I don't remember who the opening act was, but I do remember that as we were leaving, Jonathan Knight waved at me!

*PRESENT DAY*

This year, when BRIAN LITTRELL turns 26, it will be exactly 10 years since I last saw a boyband in concert. Twenty-six days following that anniversary, I will see BSB in concert in San Diego. I am absolutely overjoyed at this.

Now, I have been to other concerts between NKOTB and BSB. I just saw BRIAN McKNIGHT a little over a month ago and I saw DIXIE CHICKS six months ago and LEANN WOLMACK two months ago, but is my frist boyband in ten years!

Till it's time to play
Our heartbeats are rising
They're letting you in
Time for the show to begin"
