Three months ago, the US was shocked into attention when the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, DC were hit by hijacked airplanes. When this happened, I spent two days in shock. It didn't really sink in until the passenger manifests were released. One of the passengers on American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles was Daniel James Lee. Initially, this name meant nothing to me, but then the story came out

The BACKSTREET BOYS were making up postponed shows in Boston. On the 12th they were going to perform in Toronto. One of the set designers/lift operators Danny Lee was travelling home to Los Angeles to be with his pregnant wife in her last few days of her pregnancy. He was on Flight 11. Later I found out that BRIAN LITTRELL's wife LEIGHANNE was supposed to be on that same flight.

That's when the crying started. It really hasn't stopped since then. Every time I hear the song "Daniel" by ELTON JOHN I start to cry. Also the song "Wish You Were Here" by MARK WILLS makes me cry because it's kinda similar to what happened. I'm sure if I saw the video to BRIAN McKNIGHT's "Back at One" it would make me cry because so many of the passengers on all 4 planes called home to say "I love you."
