Do You Like Cheese?

I was at a rehearsal for a play one day, and this guy came and sat next to me and said "Do you like cheese?" and i just stared at him and said,"Excuse me?" and he said,"Cheese. Do you like cheese?" and i was very freaked out, so i just said,"I guess..." and he said,"Oh good, I like cheese too." and i said, "Right then..." and he said,"Well, actually i'm only saying this because the cheesepeople are paying me to promote their products." and i said, "The cheesepeople?" and he said,"Yeah, the cheesepeople. They live on the moon." and he started laughing and kept nudging me, going "Do you get it? Do you get it? Because the moon's supposed to be made of ch-" and i said,"Yeah, okay, i get it." and for a minute we sat there in a silence and then he said, "Do you like pies?" and i said, "Oh my god! Let me guess, the piepeople are paying you to promote their products too?" and he said, "No, i just like pies."
