Sexism From Ash Whyte's Point Of View & My Response

This was wrote in my "My Ruin" site guestbook. I thought it was somewhat interesting so I decided to let this be the first rant under this category. "what ms.B (and all the other 'GirlPower' female gendered persons) fails to realise is that sexism exists on both sides of the spectrum. In fact it is turning the other way because of people like hers' attitudes. Equality between the sexes IS becoming a mask to disguise the fact that men are now being subjected to the sexist chauvinistic behaviour by the very people that have campaigned to get these attitudes changed, Women. I have nothing against women in the music industry, everyone has a right to rock, but her statements are sometimes ill informed and make her look stupid, all men arent these fat cat record bosses only signing up male or bimbo acts, and at the end of the day, women have themselves to blame for the way they are percieved, to be treated as an equal you must first think and act like one, not a statistic. Men, stand up for yourselves, dont stand there and let them castrate you! WE ARE NOT TO BLAME".
My response in the guestbook: "Dear Ash, Thanks for signing the guestbook, but why not leave an email address so I could reply back...right, you hate to be replied back too. I am replying here instead. Next time you post, leave an email address. I am also gonna assume your male according to how you posted. First, I gotta start off with, I am glad you wrote what you felt about sexism in the guestbook. I agree with you that sexism is on BOTH sides & not one sided. However, you blaming any female band for it is quite low. I don't go around blaming any male band for sexism on the females side. You say you have nothing against women in the record industry, but you sound sexist against women. I'm not sitting here dissing any men in the music industry. You shouldn't be blaming women like Tairrie or anybody else. Tairrie does her own thing, Tairrie is Tairrie. You like to call women "Girlpower" or "female gendered persons". (as in the SPICE GIRLS type of girl power? lol) At least, you called us female. Don't blame male sexism on Tairrie's attitude. The reason that it's 2 sided is because it used to be females were the only ones that were criticized. Now, it seems that both males & females are criticized. The reason for this is because of society. I hear that most feminists are "man-haters". That right there is male sexism. I am NOT a feminist. I believe in women's rights & equality for all. I don't believe in dissing the other sex. I have never heard a sexist comment out of Tairrie's mouth, but maybe you have. If so, I'd love to know what it was. It must've made you think she was sexist. If she was so sexist, why would she try to sing metal music in the first place when men sing it too? I am not sexist in any way. I am just replying to your post in the guestbook. I think you are referring to the "feminists" on your comment about- "Equality between the sexes IS becoming a mask to disguise the fact that men are now being subjected to the sexist chauvinistic behaviour by the very people that have campaigned to get these attitudes changed, Women." Give me an example of one of Tairrie's statements that "make her look stupid & ill informed". I usually hear her say brutally honest statements. Did she say that men are the "fat cat record bosses only signing up male or bimbo acts". NO! Tairrie is not a fucking bimbo! I think your thinking of Britney Spears. As for the statement, "and at the end of the day, women have themselves to blame for the way they are percieved, to be treated as an equal you must first think and act like one, not a statistic." I agree about the women have themselves to blame for the way that they're percieved, but so do men! I agree about thinking & acting like an equal. I am glad your doing a shout out to all men at the end of your message.....who said that women were trying to castrate men in the first place? Did I say that? I don't think so. You sound like a men's activist, instead of being a "feminst" you sound like a "men's activist", with your message at the end of the guestbook. I respect that you are trying to fight for men's rights, just like women fight for women's rights. However, you could've said something that sounded like "equality" in your message, for example, "Men and women should fight for equality & should dose out sexism". However, I did not hear a statement like that from your mouth...Have I dissed males in this whole message? No. I hope you do write back in here or actually email me or give me your email address. I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just expressing my views & some points to your message. I respect your opinion & I hope you respect mine. If not, then your not as into "equality" as I thought. Thanks for expressing your views."
