Ambleside which is in the Lake District on the shore of Lake Windermere, was one of the most scenic place we went on our whole trip.
I think this was one of the nicest hostels except they charged for everything! Like getting a ride from Windermere station to Ambleside was free but the ride back was 2£! And they didn't mention that in the brochure! This is also where we started to play chess with their lawn sized chess board.
