Cheddar is a town in Somerset. It is in a gorge and they have caves. That's where they aged the Cheddar chesse that was invented there. Incidentaly they still make Cheddar cheese for the tourists and they use vegitarian rennet so baby cows don't have to die to enjoy the cheese :)
This is the town in the gorge. The entrance to the main cave is straight
ahead I'm pretty sure.
A garden in Cheddar with a pond.
This is a closeup of a waterlily in the pond.
A tree further up the gorge with the sun shining through it.
This is a reproduction of a skeleton that was found in the cave when it was rediscovered in the 1800's. The real skeleton is in the museum outside the cave. This poor guy got hit on the head with a rock while he was in the cave during an earthquake and no one found him for 9,000 years!
