Report Says Medicaid Overpays for Drugs
By ROBERT PEAR

WASHINGTON, March 7 - Federal health officials are not enforcing a law that requires drug companies to cut their prices on drugs bought for poor people under Medicaid, Congressional investigators said on Monday.

That makes me as angry as today when my AP Euro teacher (head of the Young Republicans) told me, as I critiqued the new Social Security plan, that "The only reason the Democrats don't like the plan is that they are afraid the poor people will get rich and become Republicans, and the Democratic party will cease to exist."
Right. That must be why. Obviously, right? (I'm dripping with sarcasm, here.)
This is same man who called me "Mother Theresea" for my economic views.

Anyway, did I ever tell you that *gasp* Bush came to my town on Friday? Of course, it was by-invite only, and my liberal family wasn't on the list of people who could get in (read: must have paid a certain amount to Republican Party 'cause Bush likes his audiences all his own opinions).
