See it move across the light?
See it creeping up behind you,
Ready to strike?

Well perhaps the shadow
Is too smart for you,
Hiding when you seek it,
Vanishing when you sought it out.
But it can never truly be gone
...Can it?
For isn’t light
Supposed to kill shadow?
But then again,
Shadow exists where light exists
...Then wouldn’t it exist
Only where
Light exists?
No.
The Shadow.
It’s always there.
You seek it out,
You can always find it.
No.
The Shadow cannot hide.

Not from me
...Not from you.
No.
Not from any who seek it.
