Stripe Eyes

Stripe eyes are very nice if you are looking for something a little exotic that is very dramatic and versatile. This style can be done with pretty much any colors you would like you use and can be as bright or dark as you would like. Depending on how much the colors you use contrast you can get a very dramatic effect and this only takes a few minutes to do.

Instructions:

The first thing that you need to do is choose the colors you want to use.stripeeyesections.bmp (1197558 bytes) Choose a color that is fairly dark to go on the part of your upper eye lid which is closest to you eyelashes, a slightly lighter version of the same color to go on the upper part of you lid, and the contrasting color that is going to go just below you eyebrow. Experiment and see what you like best and what works best with your complexion. See pictures at bottom for some possible color combinations.

The tools you will need are fairly simple. You need your applicator to apply the eye shadow (fingers are not reccomended as they are not good for fine details). Eye liner is optional. I like to use it to add another color for contrast and to define my eyes. Mascara is also optional, but is great for adding on dark lovely lashes, or you can get mascara in the color you are using as a contrast and that makes a very nice effect as well.

The application of the eye shadow is fairly simple really. You apply the dark color first the the bottom part of you upper lid, then the medium color above it, and then the contrasting color at the top and clean up the edges and smudges that sometimes happen. Apply eye liner and mascara and that is it, you are done and you have ultra sexy exotic eyes!
