Howie didn't quite know how to take that because she didn't even acknowledge that Beth was there. He snuck a glance at Beth and saw her smile falter, but she didn't loose it. 'What a friend!,' he thought with disgust. Howie shook his head and said, "No. I only dance with Beth here."

Beth and howie were sitting on the couch in the house they shared and Howie looked in Beth's eyes. "Beth, I think you shouldn't trust Nicole."
She look at him in confusion and asked,"What? Why?"
"Because, evidently you do not see what's going on behind your back. Nicole keeps hitting on me, but I keep trying to keep my distance. But, all night tonight she hit on me. I'm gonna put her in her place if it keeps up."

"I've what?!," Howie exclaimed.
"You've went over the edge. You have such a big ego that you think she wants you so bad to destory her friendship with me!" Beth explained.
Howie shook his head and said, "I can't believe that you would say that baby. I have never lied to you, she's the one that's lying and crossing the line with her flirting."
Just then Nicole walked in and asked, "Yo what's all the arguing about. I can hear you all the way in the livingroom. They were all over at Nicole's watching a movie, and Nicole had been hitting on Howie the whole time.
"Just something that Howie's concerned about," Beth said.
Nicole looked at Howie and smiled and said," Well Howie, why don't you come back and watch the movie with me?"
Howie shook his head and said," No. I'm tired of what you are doing Nicole. You're suppossed to be Beth's friend, but you're not acting like it. You're always hitting on me and I'm sick of it. I'm NEVER gonna cheat on Beth, so you can stop."
Nicole looked at Howie in shock and said,"Whatever. I only became her friend to get close to you."
Beth looked near tears and said,"Come on Howie." They walked out the door and to Howie's car. Beth was crying and she said," I'm so sorry that I doubted you! Please forgive me sweetie!"
Howie smiled gently and wiped her tears away,"It's like I told her the first day I met her. I only dance with you baby."
