Once upon a time in the year 2002 one girl who we'll call Taz was searching the internet to read stories about her favourite band, then she came across a story which was different from the rest. It was twisted and everything she liked. After reading the story she got in touch with the author as she had enjoyed the story ever so much. The author was a weird girl called Trudy and after chatting they both found out that they were both quite sardonic. They shared the same twisted sense of humour and got on very well. For months they chatted about this and that and became good friends.
Sardonic Blinkies was born on January 8th 2003. It was started by the good friends Taz and Trudy who had just got some software which allowed them to make flashy little images with catchy phrases on them. They would send these images to each other to show off what they could do and it pleased them immensley. Then one day they decided that it would be better if they could share their love for the little flashy images with the entire world, and so they did.
Creating a small little website they put their images on and waited for the visitors to come in and look at their blinkies and when they did Trudy and Taz were very happy. After a month and a half they began to get restless as they knew there was so much more that they could be doing with the internet. Deciding to make a bigger and better website they enrolled the list of a few designers so that they wouldn't have a huge work load.
For a week they toiled until they came up with a new site and then they began to work as fast as they could to design this new site whilst still doing customs for their old blinkie site. On February 24th 2003 Twisted & Sardonic was born.
This site is basically a web resource which means everyone comes and steals our images and we don't mind. It's quite the fairytale...
