A Reconstructed Bricole

This is a fine example of a medieval bricole or brigola. This siege engine is different than a trebuchet because it has 2 weight buckets instead of one. Also, the throwing arm rotates on a single support. It has a sling just like a trebuchet. In medieval scriptures it has often been known as 'the two-testicled machine'!
