Places to visit in Vienna
Vienna is one of the most historically important cities in Europe. It is pretty much located in the heart of the nation itself. In the 13th century, it was ruled by the Hapsburg family which created an empire. With the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian empire at the end of World war I, Vienna was no loner an Imperial city. In 1938, Hitler traveled to Vienna to declare "Anschlauss", which incorporated Austria into the greater province of Nazi Germany. After WWII, the Allies settled into Vienna to protect it from Communist invasion. However, in 1955, Austria once again became independent with Vienna as it's capital.
