Here’z some BACK STORY to read while the pix download!

Leenda & I have LUVED the Rock-N-Roll BAG PIPE group
– TARTANIC – for YEARS!
But, Leenda’s known them longer than I have, because she
WORKED the KANSAS CITY REN FEST in 2004!
She was “Wicked Wickie” the Candle Stick Maker’s Wife –
a Street Character for the whole 2004 KCRF season.

Ok. The pix should all be downloaded now.

Because TARTANIC is “based” out of HOUSTON, they have
far more members performing at the TRF than are seen at OTHER Faires.
So, this was very exciting for Mistress Leenda, as well as myneself!

When they have to travel to perform at Faires (such as
in Council Bluffs!) there are only three of them performing.

When THREE of them are performing, they are TRES FANTASTIC!
When MORE than three of them are performing – HUZZAH!!!

The STORY behind the ABOVE pic – as well as the next FOUR pix –
has to be SEEN and HEARD to truly be enjoyed!
Additionally, I don’t want to give anything away – it’s TOOOO funny!

Oh, OH!!! At the END o’ the day (on Saturday), as Leenda and I were LEAVING …
we ran into TARTANIC AGAIN!

TARTANIC had finished all their SCHEDULED stage performances.
But! They spontaneously decided to SET UP and PERFORM in the
MIDDLE o’ NO WHERE! And, we just accidentally were THERE for it!

It’s a terrible SHAME that my camera didn’t catch better
PIX o’ this TARTANIC performance. It was SUPERB!

What a SMART idea for “promotion.” I’d bet money that EVERYONE
who heard this impromptu performance and who returned to the TRF on Sunday
attended at least ONE o’ the Tartanic Sunday gigz!

If EVER you get an opportunity to see TARTANIC perform
DO IT!!!
