Keep in mind that most of the pics, except for the first two on this page are high res for high quality possible.
On April 3, 2015, my mother and I went to Maine. My aunt Lorraine got us tickets to see The Price is Right Live at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine.
We got there about an hour before showtime. The registration lines moved surprisingly fast.
Almost time for the show. Not much in my story to tell simply because camera use during the show was strictly prohibited by law.
This picture was taken after the show was over. The only thing in my story I can tell you is that the host was Todd Newton, who hosted such shows as Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck back in 2002 on GSN and the announcer was Andy Martello.
The reason I don't have much of a story to tell you is that I was not chosen to come on down. However, for the purchase of a Price is Right Live t-shirt, I got to go up on stage and have my pictures taken with the big wheel. Check it out below:
Me gearing up to spin the wheel. The wheel was quite heavy and tough to spin, despite I had to hold the handles on the side with both hands.
Whoo-hoo! Look at that wheel go!
This picture was taken as the wheel was slowing down. I ended up with 60. The lady standing behind me was attending to the wheel to place the wheel back on 1.00 after each TPIR Live t-shirt buyer has spun and had their pictures taken with the big wheel.
Me after the show, holding my picture of my miniature model of the big wheel!
Me & Auntie Lorraine. Thank you for taking us to The Price is Right, Auntie Lorraine!
My second Price is Right Live experience took place in Lynn, MA at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium on October 21, 2017. Jerry Springer was the host of the show. Unfortunately, I have no pictures to share.
My 3rd Price is Right Live experience took place in Medford, MA at the Chevalier Theater on October 8, 2018. Todd Newton was the host of the show and Jim Gruessing was the announcer. We were VIP customers. Check it out.
Me after the show, spinning the big wheel! We were VIP customers
My second spin was because my mother also had a VIP ticket, but she didn't want to spin because she had a sore arm and most importantly, this experience was more of my fantasy.
After the pictures/videos were taken and I retrieved my camera back from the VIP rep, I went over to the arrow for a second and took this picture where you can see the springs that make the arrow flip off the pegs when each one passes that arrow. I thought you'd like to see that.
My 4th Price is Right Live experience took place in Lowell, MA at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on April 18, 2019. Mark L. Walberg was the host of the show and Jim Gruessing was the announcer. We were VIP customers. Check it out.
End of the show. Sorry, no after-show wheel spinning photo ops. They didn't offer VIP tickets. Ever since then, I swore to permanently stick to VIP tickets only.
The announcer Jim Gruessing came down to meet people who attended. I had my picture taken with Jim at our request and he was flattered with my miniature model of the big wheel as he saw in my picture.
Me and Aunt Lorraine in our last picture for the night.
My 5th Price is Right Live experience took place in Ledyard, Connecticut at the Fox Theater at Foxwoods on November 20, 2019. Todd Newton was the host of the show and Jim Gruessing was the announcer. My aunt Lorraine and I were VIP customers! Check it out.

Getting in gear to spin the wheel after the show.
Gearing up to spin. I got to spin twice 'cause my aunt Lorraine wanted me to take her spin in her place. Just as well 'cause it was my fantasy. The least my aunt did was show her support. There are 3 versions of the video. Watch below.

For those interested, I took a picture of the spring mechanism on the other side of the arrow. Dual spring mechanism. Fascinating, huh?
Well, that ends my stories. Maybe someday if TPIR Live comes to Boston or anywhere near where I live, I could attend another show. But only if VIP tickets are offered. Stay tuned for further adventures of The Price is Right Live.
