CHAS’ & RUBY’S 2006 UK TOUR: Tuesday, May 23

While in London, Ruby & Chas stayed at the Holiday Inn Kensington

Chas’ PARENTS, Ray & Carol, ended their whirlwind 36-day CRUISE on May 23rd,
when they got dumped off the boat at DOVER that morning, and then were bussed to
the Hoity-Toity (expensive) Millennium Gloucester Hotel

While in London, Ray & Carol stayed in a room such as the one pictured at RIGHT.

Oddly enough, Ray & Carol’s MILLENNIUM GLOUCESTER room was rather KRUMMY!
Whereas, our cheaper KENSINGTON HOLIDAY INN room was GREAT!
Go figure.

During our three-day stay in London, Ruby and Chas ushered the Folkz about on
NON-WALKING Sight-Seeing Trips in and around the London area.
So, we didn’t tour the British Museum, or Madame Tussauds’, or anything else
that required tonz o’ WALKING or loads o’ STANDING.

Chas arrived at Ruby’s room around 7:30 am on Tuesday.
We had tonz o’ fun getting ready to trek about London.
Ruby thought my TRIP BOOK was silly enough to PHOTOGRAPH! LOL

My TRIP BOOK contained: Each lodging’s BOOKING CONFIRMATION info … MAPQUEST MAPS for each segment of our DRIVE (after leaving London) … EVENT RESERVATIONS made prior to the trip … AND, whatever OTHER info I thought was important to bring with! So YES! It was HUGE! LOL
