CAROL & RAY’s CHAS’ & RUBY’s 2006 UK TOUR: Wednesday, May 24 OUR BIG BUS TOUR

The BIG BUS TOUR of LONDON is one of the many bus tours that
allow folkz to GET OFF THE BUS and wander about each of the sites …
then catch the next bus to go to the next site. (A “hop on – hop off” gig.)
Busses arrive at each site every 10 to 20 minutes.
And, the BIG BUS TOUR tickets are good for 24 hours!

HOWEVER!
RAY & CAROL & CHAS & RUBY simply stayed ON the BUS
– seated in the Bus’ OPEN TOP –
for the 2 hour and 10 minute FULL Drive-By TOUR
of London’s most historic buildings.

It rained BEFORE and AFTER our Big Bus Tour …
but NOT DURING!
While on the BUS, the sun came out, the UNIVERSE smiled upon us,
and we had a GREAT TIME TOURING LONDON!

The FRONT HALF of the bus-top we were on was COVERED …

That’s the crown of Ruby’s HEAD in the lower left corner of the above pic.

Ray, Carol, & Chas were all in the very, very UNCOVERED bit!

Ray was in amazing form! … Laughing and joking with people ... And THEN began THE CANE BITZ!

“Hey Charly! Get a picture of this!”
Ray was brandishing his cane at passers-by … yelling, “CHARGE!” …
while the folkz sitting next to where he was standing were looking VERY NERVOUS.

I assured them that he’d had his MEDICATION, and was entirely HARMLESS.
Thankfully, they laughed.

Here are just a couple pix demonstrating how WILD it was being on top of this Big Bus, motoring through all these very THIN city canyons. Even when there wasn’t an incredible landmark to ogle the trip was great FUN. I highly recommend it!

For some reason, CAROL was terrifically interested in the
LONDON DUNGEON – which we never visited!
