CHAS’ & RUBY’S
2006 UK TOUR:
Wednesday, May 24
Our TWO-Pub
PUB CRAWL |
After the BIG BUS TOUR we returned to our hotels to NAP before our dinner outing.
Then, around 6:30 pm, we caught a cab to the Hampstead Heath area.
Our first Hampstead Heath PUB was
Ye Olde White Bear,
where we had a lovely PUB dinner. (“Simple” stuff!)

While there, we were joined
by a “local” gentleman;
Mr. Peter Mair!
He’s an ACTOR who stumbled upon
my 2002 UK Trip Pub Crawl pages
(in September of 2005)
and Emailed me about them.
Thereupon, I invited him to
be our “guide” for the
2006 Pub Visit.
And SILLY BOY!
HE AGREED!!! |
Peter was incredibly pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable the PERFECT HOST!
In fact, he was too fantastically FUN and HELPFUL for words.

|
After a lovely dinner,
we trekked up the street
in the RAIN, to
The
Duke of Hamilton
Pub
(The pretty PIC at left
is from a website!) |
Here are our 2006 PIX of the Duke’s front entrance! LOL
I cannot believe I forgot to get a pic of our 2006 group
sitting at the SAME TABLE as our 2002 group!!!
I could just SPIT.
Here’s the 2002 Group:
Here’s Peter and I in 2006:
Here’s Ray in 2006. (It’s not the best pic but, HEY! It’s a PIC!)
Here’s the only other person’s pic I got in 2006:
RUBY’S face accidentally in the frame of a Mary Wooderson pic!
(“Where’s WALDO?”!!!)
The Duke is owned by “Woody” and Mary Wooderson.
Here is Mary’s pic from my 2002 trip:
And, here she is in 2006:
That is the entirety of our 2006 “PUB CRAWL” PIX!!! LOL
