CAROL & RAY’s
CHAS’ & RUBY’s
2006 UK TOUR:
Friday, May 26th
Our Last
London Breakfast |

Chas went to meet Ray & Carol at The Patisserie (the café mid-way between
our two hotels). The folkz had already eaten at their hotel, so they just had coffee
while Chas breakfasted … all sitting at a patio table and watching London pass by.
I saw this sign on the open door of The Patisserie,
and remembered my “collection” of UK signs:

I take pix of signs you likely would NEVER see in the USA!
This is a PURSE SAFETY sign! LOL

Remember the pic of the tiny CAR Ruby took during
her walk with Carol to Kensington Palace?
![](/funky/chasandrex/images01/052602.JPG)
We laughed out loud when we saw this little car on the bed of
this “vehicle removal” truck!
![](/funky/chasandrex/images01/052603.JPG)
Amazing. They just PICK the thing up and put it on the truck bed!
Then drive it AWAY.

Ray & Carol were happy that this was their last TRIP day.
![](/funky/chasandrex/images01/052600.JPG)
The bus to Heathrow airport was leaving their Hotel at around 11 am.
Ray and Carol had enjoyed their trip (for the most part),
![](/funky/chasandrex/images01/052601.JPG)
but, they were QUITE ready to LEAVE LONDON!
