CHAS’ & RUBY’S |
Unless otherwise indicated, ALL pix were taken by CHAS & RUBY!
The Langley Hotel was probably our LEAST FAVORITE LODGING on this trip!
In addition to their “LIFT” (elevator) being chronically unable to go TO the floor
our room was on (we later learned we could CALL it to the floor, once ON it),
they had a “FUNCTION” booked in their dining room on BOTH the nights
we stayed there. So, their hotel guests were PROHIBITED from
DINING IN THE HOTEL on BOTH the nights we stayed there!
Considering the EXPENSE of staying at their so-called “full service” hotel,
their failure to ensure that DINING was available to hotel guests represents a rather
nasty breach of contract.
The room we FIRST were put in had a window that WOULDN’T OPEN.
lovely room apart from the fact that THERE WAS NO AIR FLOW because you COULDN’T OPEN THE WINDOW!
That’s something |
(I swear it!) pissing and moaning about the first room, they moved us to a different room.
