at Hedingham Castle

As we began to walk toward Hedingham Castle,

we passed by the drained MOAT, and noticed a SIGN …

YUP. There was an ARCHERY EVENT going on beside the MOAT!

Folkz of ALL AGES were “queuing up” to shoot arrows at TARGETS ….

AND, at a PIG!

[Poor PIG!!!]

I think they provided this ARCHERY opportunity FREE OF CHARGE!

(I hope that folkz TIPPED the ARCHERS …
This stuff went on ALL THE DANG DAY!)

As we reached the BRIDGE that traversed the MOAT, and turned …

THERE IT WAS … HEDINGHAM CASTLE!
Is that not GORGEOUS?!
