Part TWO |

Apparently, the TRUE identity of William Shakespeare
wasn’t established until sometime around 1957.
The Updated Shakespeare Oxford Society Website is considered
“The premier source of information on the Shakespeare authorship issue.”
Founded in 1957, the Shakespeare Oxford Society is a non-profit,
educational organization dedicated to exploring the Shakespeare
authorship question and researching the evidence that Edward de Vere,
the 17th Earl of Oxford (1550 1604) is the true author of the
poems and plays of “William Shakespeare.”
Although several so-called “experts” continue to debate it,
there apparently is overwhelming evidence that

Edward de Vere,
the
17th Earl of Oxford,
was the individual
who wrote
Shakespeare’s works.
AND … There is
NO ARGUMENT
about the fact that
Edward de Vere
was born at
Hedingham Castle
(the “Oxford family seat”),
on April 12, 1550. |

From the Hedingham “booklet”:
In Elizabethan times it was an unwritten law that members of the court
could not publish poetry or write plays under their own name
because the professions of actor, poet or dramatist were held in
very low esteem. Consequently if a nobleman wished to publish
his works, or worse still consort with ‘lewd fellows’ by close
association with the theatre, it could only be done anonymously.
Consequently, there is a TERRIFIC Edward de Vere
and SHAKESPEARE EXHIBIT up on the
“DORMITORY FLOOR” of Hedingham Castle!
While I was up there, however … I happened to look through a WINDOW!
It had started to RAIN … and the entire JOUST AUDIENCE was heading for the Castle!
Since access to any place HIGHER than Hedingham’s “Dormitory Floor” was
BARRED, and since I didn’t want to fuss with an incredible crowd INSIDE the castle,
I quickly romped down the circular stairs to the GIFT SHOP & TEA ROOM.
The pic above is of a display over the fireplace in the Gift Shop / Tea Room.
There, I met up with Ruby … and enjoyed a cup of coffee …
before we began our trek OUT of Hedingham Castle.
Once we managed to get out of the Castle, the rain had stopped
and the OTHER festivities were commencing.
The FALCONER was gathering his birds, in order to take them to
the area where he would do his demonstration.
From the costumed lady in the Banqueting Hall, I had learned that
the Falconer had recently suffered the loss of his oldest bird. (20 years?)
He was devastated! But, he remained polite and reasonably friendly.
Having so recently lost
Luper (18 years)
& Jelly (16 years),
I felt terrible for him!
So, I didn’t ask him to
“pose” with any of his birds
before he romped off to
the demonstration area. |

On our way back
to the parking lot,
Ruby spent
some time
peeking into the
MANOR HOUSE
folkz
STILL LIVE IN
that is immediately
across the
Moat Bridge,
from the Castle. |
She is SUCH a SNOOP! LOL!
When we arrived at the car, Ruby noticed that I’d
BACKED INTO a chicken wire structure that
surrounded and supported a sapling tree.
Sure enough! I’d put a DING in the rear fender of
our BRAND NEW CITROËN PICASSO!!!
[Thankfully, the rental folkz never noticed it!]
After THAT, we were OFF TO CAMBRIDGE!
