Tuesday, May 30th
Fun Cambridge Breakfast Shots
& Travel to LIVERPOOL PIX

We began this day breakfasting in the perfectly loverly Moat House Restaurant.

I only had COFFEE, because I was really peeved that they didn’t have
a BREAKFAST MENU available – only the FULL Flippin’ BUFFET.
So, even if I ordered only what I wanted (sausage, ‘taters, and ‘shrooms),
I would have been charged for the FULL BUFFET. ($18 or MORE!)

But, while Ruby enjoyed HER breakfast buffet and I sat sipping coffee (and grousing),
I happened to look out the window BEHIND her … and …
There was a CAVALCADE o’ COWS … LOOSE … OUT THERE!

They were simply sauntering about – free as you plz – with no fences or folkz
to curtail their random rambling and ruminating!
(Hell! They could have been rampaging and ruminating, had they wanted to!)

Well, of COURSE I thought that was so FUN and fantabulous …

that I ran outside and took several PIX o’ the boogying bovines.


And, after that, I simply couldn’t sustain a PISSEY MOOD.
DANG!LOL
The drive to Liverpool
was over
THREE HOURS
long!

But, Ruby had professed an interest
in visiting The BEATLES’ city.

So, by Gawdess, we went there!

Here are pix from our “Welcome Break” (“rest stop”) while enroute to Liverpool.

This poster was
EVERYWHERE in the UK!

We’d seen it at almost EVERY
“Welcome Break” we’d stopped at
since FIRST hitting the road.

And, we saw it at almost every
other “Welcome Break” we
visited during our trip!

I’m still not entirely sure what
the whole “black mouth” bit
MEANT!
And, after seeing it so often,
this poster really began to
KREEP ME OUT!!!
LOL
