CHAS’ & RUBY’S 2006 UK TOUR Tuesday, May 30th: We Drive To Our Liverpool Lodgings

Due to TONZ o’ traffic once we left The Beatles Story,
it was a real BEAR to drive to the Adelphi Hotel.
But! While enroute, we captured these incredible pix of
SIGNS ON THE BACK O’ LIVERPOOL BUSSES!

“People who DUMP WASTE ILLEGALLY are …”

[Do you see the RATZ all over the back o’ the bus?!]

And, then there was THIS Bus Bumper Sign about the
DANGER of driving too fast!

Oh, surpriZe: Ruby had booked us into a PREMIER Liverpool Hotel
The Britannia Adelphi!

In 2004 I presented my Restraint Asphyxia – Silent Killer UK lecture IN the Adelphi.
But, the tour sponsor couldn’t afford to LODGE me there! LOL

“The current Adelphi Hotel was built in 1914 for the launch of the Titanic.
It has been faithfully restored to provide modern facilities in a traditional setting.”

I’ll post pix o’ the room we stayed in after the pix of my GRAPES PUB VISIT–
because I only had time to drop Ruby OFF in the hotel before
running out the door to WALK to my Grapes Pub MEETING!
