CHAS’ & RUBY’S
2006 UK TOUR

Thursday, June 1st:
Chas Visits A
COUNTRY STABLE

After driving
down several
single-lane
paved roads,
we turned onto a
single-lane
DIRT road,
and approached
the STABLES.

While on the
dirt lane,
we met
these riders.

The Country Stables Brodie took me to are where his DAUGHTER
(Rachel) boards her horse! The place was absolutely WONDERFUL!

Unfortunately, I had trouble figuring out how to take pix inside the stables
without using a FLASH. (I didn’t want to startle the occupants!)

So, I didn’t get ANY “good” pix of the many horses I visited with INSIDE.

Rachel’s horse was in a LARGE FIELD … and entirely UN-interested
in coming closer to say “HELLO” to us. LOL

What a GORGEOUS creature!

OH!!! I got my one and only KAT CUDDLE FIX here!

This is the Stable Kat, called “FAT CAT!” (We resemble that remark!)

While I was thoroughly enjoying my KAT CUDDLE FIX,

Brodie warned me, “Ya know, Tcharly, that’s a Farrrrm cat!
Then he explained how he meant that it probably had “FLEAS” and the like.

Did I CARE?! NO!!!

Clearly, FC wasn’t “fat” – he was FLUFFY!

As we drove away
from the stables,
this woman was
working a horse
in one of the
several corrals
there.

Here’s a shot taken while we drove back down the single-lane dirt road.

Isn’t this GORGEOUS?! I think so!

It was around 11 am
when we left the stables,
so Brodie took me to
LOGANLEA
RESTAURANT

for a
TEA BREAK!

At Brodie’s suggestion, I enjoyed a “Millionaire’s Short Bread” with my cappuccino.

It’s also called a “Caramel Shortcake” – and it is EVIL!
