CHAS’ & RUBY’S 2006 UK TOUR Thursday, June 1st: CASTLE CAMPBELL PAGE THREE

All along the walk from the parking lot to the Castle, there were HUGE FERNS covering the countryside!

AND! All along the walls of the entrance way into the Castle “Ranges” there were LITTLE FERNS growing between the rocks!

BUT. By far and above, the most IMPRESSIVE “Flora”
of Castle Campbell’s grounds were the RHODODENDRONS!!!

In fact, although I’d heard about “RHODODENDRON HELLS”
– I’d never SEEN one before this!

They were EVERYWHERE!!!
And, they were absolutely AMAZING!!!

Walking BACK to the parking lot was mostly DOWN HILL. Thus, I found it much more “picturesque” during THAT JAUNT! LOL!
