CHAS’ & RUBY’S
2006 UK TOUR

Friday, June 2nd:
EDINBURGH PIX
BY CHAS

After leaving Edinburgh Castle, I visited
GEOFFREY TAILOR’S
TARTAN WEAVING MILL

The Tartan Weaving Mill is right near the entrance
to Edinburgh Castle. It is a very large shop that includes a
free museum showing the history of the kilt, as well as
displays demonstrating how the tartans are woven –
“then” and now.

Next, I walked by ST. GILES CATHEDRAL

I took the photo above.

Compared to this
Internet-Snagged photo,
you can see that the statue
had some kind of
TRAFFIC CONE
on its head
during our visit.

LOL!

Just a few pix I took while walking about at the Castle-end
of the “ROYAL MILE”

Hey, Susan! The COWS CONTINUE! LOL

A
cool
building
flying
the
SCOTTISH
FLAG.

In the upper right corner,
note one of the CAMERAS that are
posted at practically every Edinburgh
“Royal Mile” intersection.

A section of the “Royal Mile” was under construction.
(Oh, surpriZe!)

How HILARIOUS! I happened by during a Phone Booth stuffing!
(Whadya wanna bet these are Americans?!?!)

I’ll bet that Ruby took her Frankenstein CHARACTER pic outside
The Frankenstein PUB!

But … WHAT is a Frankenstein Pub doing in Edinburgh?
Mary Shelly was an English writer who never lived in Edinburgh.
