Here I am astride my trusty steed, JIGSAW.
I totally forgot that they made me wear this terrifically attractive HELMET!
Check out my Capesio Cowboy Boots, though! La dee dah.
The scenery along the ride was incredible! (Oh, SurpriZe.)
We walked and trotted through forests …
and over bridges …
Supposedly, ROSLYN CHAPEL can be seen in this view.
I have no idea WHERE, though! LOL
Oh! My guide was this lovely young Romanian (?) woman who spoke only
enough English to accomplish the tour and chat a bit. But, that was plenty!
She was an excellent rider and a very, very sweet person.
After a gallup in an area I didn’t take pix of (Hey! Holding on!) …
we headed back through the woods, and reached the Stable only 15 minutes late.
(A 1 hour and 15 minute Private Hack for the Group Price. Luv it.)
There, they unsaddled JIGSAW and hosed him off.
(Must be a Scottish thing. I swear
that I was NOT incontinent during the ride!)
A true Group of riders was gathering as I stumbled to the Tack Shed
(on my “Sea Legs” LOL) to return my helmet.
Before I left, they let me pose with JIGSAW.
Then, I headed back to DALHOUSIE to meet up with Ruby.
Apparently, after the Wedding and before the Reception,
the Wedding Party moved to the lawn for Photo Opps.
I snapped these two pix on my way “home” to the Castle.
What a FUN DAY! And, it wasn’t OVER, YET!
