CHAS’ & RUBY’S
2006 UK TOUR
Sunday, June 4th:

More Chas pix o’
ROSSLYN
CHAPEL

As you can see,
even with the
scaffolding
and steel canopy
in place,
the intricacy of
Rosslyn Chapel’s
architectural
embellishments
is stunning

even on the
OUTSIDE!

I don’t know what the story is about all the different colors of masonry.
You’ll have to ask a Mason!

This is a view of the area accessed when entering the Castle perimeter.

The benches are against the back of the Old Stables (with Shop).
That little patio area may be where the entrance from the Stables is.
The side walk leads from the Church Services Gate to the Chapel.

I took the pic above when leaving Rosslyn Chapel’s walled grounds,
so that I could walk a ways around the wall’s exterior.

That’s the South end of the Old Stables building at right in the pic above.

The VIEW from this area is incredible!
But, I don’t have a panoramic camera. So, I didn’t snap it.
