Garboldisham set up another destructive victory, thanks to a superb team and induvidual performance. Fielding first, Garboldisham soon had the away team in trouble. Nigel Ling's 5 consecutive maidens and Will Dyer's 4 wickets gained a quick advantage, although R Beevor and S Cushing put up some resistance. 3 wickets from Stuart Lake and two direct-throw run outs from Ian Melvin dismissed Brooke for just 140. Garboldisham started batting positively, 4 of their 5 sixes coming off the bat of John Moorhouse. He was to go on to make 81*, mostly in boundaries, with Robert Leech and Johnny Wyatt providing support. Although Miles Anstess bowled well, he could not prevent the comfortable 6 wicket win by Garboldisham.
